The American jazz composer, pianist, organist and bandleader Carla Bley and her partner, jazz bassist and composer Steve Swallow talk with Torsten Maaß about avant-garde in music.
They talk about the beginning of their career. What brought them to Hamburg, which trends are current in music distribution, how youtube, mp3 and streaming affects the quality of music today. They share their inspirations with the audience and answer some questions.
