John Krivit

John Krivit is the president of the international Audio Engineering Society (AES). From 2010-2015 he served as the Chair of the AES Education Committee. John was professor at Emerson College, Bay State College and at the New England Institute of Art and has given various lectures around the globe on audio and education topics.
He is the founder of the Boston Area Definitive Audio Student Summit (BADASS), an annual event with workshops, tutorials, exhibitions and panel discussions.

John Krivit ist Präsident der international Audio Engineering Society (kurz AES). Von 2010 bis 2015 war er Vorsitz des AES Bildungskomitees. Er hat am Emerson College, Bay State College und am New England Institute of Art unterrichtet. John leitete bereits viele Workshops zu Audio- und Bildungsthemen rund um den Globus.
Des Weiteren ist er Gründer des „Boston Area Definitive Audio Student Summit“ (BADASS), einem jährlich stattfindenden Event mit Workshops, Tutorials, Ausstellungen und Diskussionen zum Thema Pro-Audio.
Er ist auch Produzent, Ingenieur, Musiker, Komponist und Pädagoge. Er war der Besitzer von The Sound Markt Recording Studio, ab 1988-1998, wo er Hunderte von Sitzungen für das Fernsehen, Radio, Multimedia und CD-Veröffentlichung produziert, darunter Soundtrack Arbeit für "alle Fälle Amy" (CBSTV), "General Hospital" (ABC-TV ), "Witness to the Mob" (NBC-TV) und "Closing the Loop" (WMAR TV 2, WRC-TV 4).
Er ist Associate Professor für Audio & Medientechnik an der New England Institute of Art, wo er 2002 sowohl mit dem Inabeth Miller Distinguished Faculty Award für herausragende Lehre und der Norm Prescott Teaching Award ausgezeichnet wurde. John ist ein Gouverneur der Audio Engineering Society und dient als Education Committee Chair der Organisation.
